- I'm a writer, born and raised in Texas but resident in Scotland for the past 18 years. I'm obsessed with books, writing, and language,and have recently become hooked on researching family history -- I think my journal will mostly fasten onto those things, but stay tuned. I write short stories and novels, mostly in the overlapping genres of fantasy, science fiction and horror, but I've also written non-fiction, book reviews, and journalism.
